La GLS escuela de alemán en Berlín ha recibido el premio Star School Germany 5 veces y ha sido declarada SUPER STAR entre las mejores escuelas de idiomas del mundo. Los premios Star School son otorgados cada año en Londres por la revista Study Travel Magazine. Se otorgan a las mejores escuelas de idiomas de todo el mundo, basándose en las evaluaciones de unos 3.000 profesionales de los viajes lingüísticos de más de 60 países.

GLS es la única escuela de idiomas en Alemania con
- un campus urbano de 16.000 metros cuadrados situado en el centro de Berlín

A women-led family business
GLS was founded in 1983 by the Berlin entrepreneur Barbara Jaeschke, who still runs the company today, now together with her daughters Dr. Verena Jaeschke (left) and Dr. Reemda Jaeschke (right).
GLS history
What began as a one woman show in 1983, is now a company with 150 employees and a 16,000 m² campus with a school & 2 hotels in the very center of Berlin.

Students can have their German courses with GLS recognized for university degrees, i.e. earn academic credits at GLS..

En 2019, Ryugaku Journal, con sede en Tokio, nominó a GLS como una de las 10 mejores escuelas de idiomas del mundo. GLS es la única escuela de alemán en el Top 10: más sobre las Top 10 escuelas.

En 2023, GLS fue galardonada como "Escuela de idioma alemán del año" por la Asociación de operadores turísticos de idioma turco en Estambul (UED).
