You choose how many German lessons to book: 4 or 6 lessons per day. The sample schedule below is for 6 lessons daily.
Sample Schedule (6 Lessons Daily, Mon–Fri):
- Morning German Lessons: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Specialized German for Journalists: 1:15 PM – 2:45 PM
Meals:
- Breakfast: Mon–Sun, 7:30 – 9:00 AM (GLS Canteen)
- Lunch: Mon–Fri, 12:30 PM (GLS Canteen)

From Alexanderplatz to the Brandenburg Gate, past the State Opera and Bebelplatz, this tour leads you through the very heart of Berlin. Every stop reveals layers of political history, cultural transformation, and moments that continue to inspire journalists around the world. |
| Tuesday | Tränenpalast (“Palace of Tears”) The Tränenpalast in Berlin was once a border crossing between East and West Germany. Today, original documents, photographs, and personal objects reveal the emotional stories of Berliners affected by the city’s division. |
| Wednesday | Meeting with a local journalist A conversation and Q&A with a journalist from Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF), held at GLS. |
| Thursday | Jüdisches Museum One of Europe’s most important museums of Jewish history. We explore its striking, narrative architecture and discover 2,000 years of Jewish life in Germany through personal testimonies, archival material, and multimedia exhibitions. |

Sample itinerary
Imagine beginning your journey in Bonn with a guided city tour. Next, the group heads to Hamburg for a thrilling scavenger hunt, an evening at the Lion King musical, and a scenic boat tour of the harbor.
Then, travel to Berlin, where both students and teachers can enjoy breathtaking views from the TV Tower and indulge in delicious cake. In Berlin, they’ll bond over bowling, explore vibrant street art, participate in a creative workshop, and delve into the city's rich history at captivating museums.
The adventure culminates in Frankfurt, where the group shares a farewell dinner and reflects on their incredible journey before enjoying one last stunning view from the observation tower.
